Client Background

DC Link Group is a leading computer hardware distributor in Ukraine. In 2017, the company launched production under its own brand, ExpertPC, and soon followed up with the TM Cobra, Prologix, and TM Asgard brands. DC Link Group manufactures desktops, all-in-ones, laptops, and servers. It has grown into one of Ukraine’s largest PC makers under proprietary brands as well as a partner to the country’s leading national retailers. To date, it has sold more than 100,000 computers and carries 15,000 SKUs in its lineup.

The company’s products are sold through Rozetka, Comfy, Foxtrot, Click, and other Ukrainian online stores, as well as through its own B2B portal.

DC Link Group has worked with Pricer24 since 2019.

Why the Partnership Started

DC Link Group’s manufacturing arm operates in the PC hardware niche. It’s fast-moving and crowded, which means they fight for market share and look for new ways to outcompete other manufacturers and distributors every day.

At the outset of their partnership with Pricer24, the main task was tracking and controlling retail prices for one of DC Link Group’s own brands. While launching the new Cobra brand, our client noticed some sellers were undercutting prices. That prompted a decision to set up price monitoring for Cobra products so the team could react to market price shifts in time.

The company also began tracking prices of other manufacturers’ products and monitoring how competing products were represented in the computer hardware segment.

Most of this work was done manually at the time, and the team’s capacity only stretched far enough to cover the most important items.

When it came to pricing against competitors, we worked at the level of key items — manually comparing prices on the storefronts where a given competitor was listed, and rolling it all up into some kind of spreadsheet every so often.
Denys Yakovlev, Director of PC Manufacturing at DC Link Group

As sales volumes grew, the company moved to automate monitoring. Pricer24 was the first competitor price and assortment analysis solution DC Link Group’s team tried, and it proved to be the right call. Over the following seven years, the partnership evolved as the platform was adapted to the client’s needs.

Competition in the PC market today comes down to how fast you can make decisions. We need to see changes almost in real time to react quickly, both in how we develop our lineup and in how we work with partners.
Denys Yakovlev, Director of PC Manufacturing

DC Link Group’s Pricing Analytics Challenge

In the electronics segment, price monitoring is often done using part numbers, which serve as a stable identifier across every point of distribution. But that approach breaks down for a fully assembled computer built from multiple components, where matching by part number simply isn’t possible.

To check competitors’ prices for the company’s own PCs as well as rival PCs, DC Link Group’s specialists had to manually search through every available product, filtering by a specific combination of components (for example: graphics card A, memory B, motherboard C). Filtering this way took considerable time, and not every site even offered enough filter parameters to make it work.

Monitoring that requires matching a whole cluster of parameters at once is no small feat for automated pricing analytics. But the Pricer24 team tapped into the platform’s aggregation capabilities and built a custom PC Market Analysis report, giving the client a way to compare prices within product segments grouped by specification.

How the PC Market Analysis Report Works

After digging into the client’s request, the Pricer24 team built a dedicated report for analyzing the personal computer market. It tracks prices on PCs with comparable specifications.

DC Link’s specialists start by selecting the group of specifications they want to pull matching products for. This could be a set of components or other parameters. Once the specifications are set, the report generates a list of matching products, then shows which sellers carry them, what prices are currently set for them, and the exact specs of each listing.

DC Link’s team can save report configurations for each standard set of specifications. The report highlights notable insights, such as a wide price gap or a shrinking number of models on the market.

The PC Market Analysis report makes it possible to:

  • see the total number of the client’s own and equivalent competitor models on each key storefront (Rozetka, Comfy, Foxtrot, Click, and others);
  • gauge how deep each store’s assortment runs in a given segment;
  • compare stock levels and availability across storefronts;
  • compare prices for specific configurations side by side.

How DC Link Group Uses the Report

The team layers market and sales data with figures from outside research agencies, including GfK, which break down market share by brand. This lets the team see:

  • which product segments are performing well on online stores, and where there’s an opening to introduce their own products;
  • how well their own products are represented across different storefronts, and which manufacturers they are competing against;
  • which storefront matters most for sales of a given brand or product group.
We use the report to get a clearer picture of where to take the lineup and whether expanding it will actually drive more sales. We draw those conclusions by looking at the product lines where we already have strong representation, mapping that against our sales trends, and comparing it with lines where we have little or no representation.
Denys Yakovlev, Director of PC Manufacturing

The report also points the manufacturer toward which products are worth developing and bringing to market next. That lets the company speed up its market analysis and scale price intelligence to the volume it needs. Thousands of products and comparable competitor listings are tracked every day. The team’s core goal is to hold on to as much market share as possible, largely by working closely with key retail partners to sell more DC Link Group products. The Pricer24 report helps make that happen.

How the Report Evolved with the Client’s Needs Over the Years

The client has had access to the report for several years now, and we’ve refined it as new requests have come in.

Initially, the report’s logic worked by matching a competitor’s equivalent product to a specific item in the client’s own catalog — a SKU-centric approach.

In 2025, DC Link Group asked to see the market broken down by groups of specifications instead, for a broader view. We reworked the report to fit the client’s new needs.

Now, the team can view the entire assortment within a chosen segment and filter the list of items by a specific technical spec, immediately seeing stock and pricing broken down by that spec and comparing their own offerings against competitors.

The specification for the report update was drawn up from the client’s requests. Building it took a month, and fine-tuning it afterward took a single day. The result: DC Link Group got a tool that shows a market snapshot, in just a few clicks, in exactly the format that fits its current needs — with every filter for technical specs it requires.

DC Link Group specialists have pointed out that Pricer24 conveniently unifies the way products are listed across different sites. Some storefronts list incomplete or inconsistent product data, whereas Pricer24’s report standardizes that information across every storefront, pulling data from various sites into a single feed that’s easy to work with.

Turning the update around this fast was possible thanks to Pricer24’s design as a general-purpose pricing analytics builder capable of handling a wide range of requests from category managers.

What Working with the Platform Looks Like Today

Product managers responsible for growing computer brands use the report daily, pulling data from Pricer24 each morning to see what’s changed across stores over the past 24 hours.

Each specialist on DC Link Group’s team configures the report to fit their own needs — adding or removing columns (manufacturer, storefront, etc.) and filtering by product, processor, graphics card, brand, and so on. The report shows how many models of a given configuration the client has and how many a specific competitor has.

Results for DC Link Group and Pricer24

Pricer24 covers DC Link Group’s core needs around aggregating and analyzing competitor pricing and assortment data.

DC Link Group representatives have cited these key advantages of Pricer24:

  • Ease of tailoring reports to their own needs (customizing columns and filters);
  • Speed;
  • Quality and consistency of data updates — In all the time the team has used the platform, they have never caught data drifting out of step with the real market situation.

A major result of using Pricer24 has been substantial time saving on market analysis. Before adopting Pricer24, checking a group of products with similar specifications — such as computers with a certain processor and graphics card — on a single online storefront took around three minutes. That meant manually going into the computers category and setting filters for graphics card, processor, and other parameters. Checking three or four storefronts stretched that process out considerably.

Now, the team runs the same check across every storefront at once in about 10 seconds, since all information is available on a single screen in a unified format.

According to our client, gathering prices on key items across the main storefronts used to take a specialist an entire workday; the same monitoring now takes about five minutes.

DC Link Group also highlights how quickly Pricer24’s support team responds to questions and requests for changes, which is a big deal when working in such a fast-moving, competitive environment.

Sales Growth in a Slowing Market

Compared with the same period last year, the company’s sales grew 30% in 2026, even as the Ukrainian PC market as a whole shrank by roughly 5% over the same period according to analytics agencies. Denys Yakovlev says the Pricer24 platform helped get them there.

When the market is flat or even down 5%, and our sales are growing, it’s clear we’re doing something right — thanks, in part, to Pricer24, to our report, and to how professional our team is.
Denys Yakovlev, Director of PC Manufacturing at DC Link Group
