At the start of our cooperation, prices and representation of the brand’s products on sellers’ digital shelves were checked manually by a dedicated specialist. Sales and inventory data came from partners in the form of reports that needed to be collected, consolidated, and analyzed. Some tasks were performed using Excel.

This worked, but it required a significant amount of time for processing. With growth in volume and the speed of changes, it became obvious that the company was spending too much time on decision-making. And for a market that operates like an exchange, speed is critical.

One of the key challenges was monitoring partner prices. Kingston Technology operates through a broad partner network and needs to track partners’ prices to ensure equal conditions for all. Errors sometimes occur: for example, a partner may simply forget to set a new price somewhere. In other cases, a product may be out of stock. Every such case needs to be identified, its cause understood, and an appropriate response provided.

Kingston Technology in Ukraine has a multi-level partner structure. There are importers and distributors (T1), large retailers (T2), and smaller partners (T3). It is important to understand not only what has been shipped but also what is actually being sold to end consumers, while monitoring inventory levels and prices.

In addition, the company controls the presence of the brand’s products on partners’ digital shelves, analyzes representation, and can respond when certain products are out of stock or have not been added to partners’ online catalogs.

Another area of ongoing analysis is reviews of Kingston products. The company regularly collects reviews in order to respond to any negative feedback that appears and to help end consumers resolve any difficulties they encounter.

The cooperation began with the Pricer24 team implementing price intelligence for Kingston products across the company’s partner network.

Pricer24 team initiated the processing of partner price lists, establishing precise product matching and ensuring consistent acquisition of market data. By comparing company price lists against retail website data, Pricer24 began providing automated market insights.

All prices are displayed in a convenient report: those lower than, higher than, and equal to the company’s own prices. The report provides an overall picture, and users can easily drill down by double-clicking to see the list of specific prices and immediately identify on which websites and for which products prices differ. Moreover, direct links to specific products can be taken from the system and sent to partners.

Over time, the brand team expanded their use of Pricer24.

In particular, they began working with sales and inventory analytics. Weekly reports from partners are uploaded to the system, processed by the platform, and displayed in a consolidated form. This makes it possible to see not just figures but dynamics: what was delivered to partners, what was sold, and where stock is accumulating.

The company has internal software that, according to business rules, is prohibited from integrating with external solutions. Given this, Pricer24 processes files uploaded by the client on their side and then outputs data that can be worked with further.

Digital shelf presence analysis was another key monitoring focus. Pricer24 enables daily tracking of product availability throughout the partner network, delivering in-depth data on brand representation across every retailer’s digital storefront. The company closely monitors product presence on digital shelves, and Pricer24 functionality provides valuable support in this regard.

The next step was competitive analysis. Kingston specialists added part numbers for relevant competitor products to the system and set up price comparisons. This provided a broader view of the market, allowing Kingston representatives to assess brand positioning relative to competitors rather than focusing solely on their own metrics. 

Over time, Pricer24 became part of Kingston’s daily operations. Pricing, assortment, and other data is regularly processed and used in internal systems, and even for marketing tasks.

In particular, the Kingston team uses lists of links to sellers’ websites provided by Pricer24 to populate the Add to Cart section on the Kingston.com website.

This functionality enables a user to select a product and receive a list of stores in their country where it can be purchased. Manually providing links for 5,000 products would be extremely difficult, whereas Pricer24 automates this task.

 

 

Kingston Technology also uses Pricer24 to monitor product reviews so they can respond to negative reviews if they appear.

The platform is used by the client’s entire team. Specialists have different tasks and use Pricer24 at varying levels.

Some tasks happen regularly: checking prices twice a day takes about half an hour.

Other tasks are in-depth and analytical: Several days a week, the team analyzes sales, inventory, competitor activities, representation, and reviews, draws conclusions, and forms plans.
